Usa un metro da sarta morbido. Misura la circonferenza della testa passando sopra la sommità e sotto la mandibola, nel punto in cui si appoggia il cappuccio, e tieni il metro aderente senza stringerlo.

1. Come scelgo la taglia giusta?

Misura la circonferenza della testa del tuo cane passando sopra la sommità e sotto la mandibola, nel punto in cui si appoggia la cuffia, poi confrontala con la tabella: S per 25–38 cm, M per 35–48 cm e L per 45–60 cm. Se il cane è tra due taglie, scegli quella più grande.

2. Il mio cane riuscirà comunque a sentirmi?

Sì. L’imbottitura attutisce i rumori improvvisi e forti, come botti e boati, ma il cane può comunque sentire la tua voce e ciò che succede intorno.

3. La cuffia resta in posizione quando il cane si muove?

Sì. Il cinturino a strappo sotto il mento aiuta a tenere ferma la cuffia, mentre il cordino sul retro consente di regolarla con precisione. Lascia spazio per due dita sotto il cinturino.

4. Come abituo il cane a indossarla?

Inizia qualche giorno prima di un’occasione rumorosa. Fai indossare la cuffia per un minuto alla volta in una stanza tranquilla, premia il cane con uno snack e toglila mentre è ancora rilassato.

5. Come si lava?

Lava la cuffia a mano in acqua fino a 30 °C con un detergente delicato, poi lasciala asciugare distesa all’aria.
